# Earn BTRST

The Braintrust token (BTRST) is the core incentive mechanism given to users for building, curating, and improving the network. 

Examples of this include building out a talent profile (work history, reputation, skill certifications, etc.), referring new talent and new clients. 

***Note: BTRST tokens do NOT represent equity, debt, a claim on profits, or dividends and does not constitute any financial instrument of any business or organization.***

### Earned BTRST tokens are sent to your Braintrust Platform wallet.

## Refer Clients with the Braintrust Connector Program

The Braintrust Connector program is designed for users that are interested in earning BTRST tokens for referring clients and talent to build the Braintrust network.&#x20;

When referring clients, you earn 2% of the total contract value for every individual that your referees hire. The reward is paid out in BTRST tokens. There is a $100,000 cap per client that you refer.

## Refer Talent to the Braintrust Network

Earn 1% of future earnings in BTRST for anyone who signs up through your link. Your unique referral link can be found on your Braintrust [dashboard](https://app.usebraintrust.com/auth/login/).&#x20;

&#x20;Do you have a referral in mind for a specific job? In the job description, there will be a button to **"Share This Job."**&#x20;

When you click on it, a pop-up will appear with your referral link specific to that job. Copy and share that job opportunity link with your networks.
